Common migration questions
Will my Medium stories import cleanly?
Medium's HTML export preserves headings, paragraphs, bold/italic, lists, blockquotes, and links. Images that were hosted on Medium's CDN remain linked to their original URLs in the imported draft — you can re-upload them or leave the external links.
Can I keep my Medium profile while I migrate?
Yes. Exporting from Medium doesn't change or remove your published stories. You can run both platforms in parallel and publish new work on JustJot.ai while your Medium archive stays live — switch over at your own pace.
What happens to my Medium followers?
Medium followers stay on Medium — they're not exportable. To rebuild your audience on JustJot.ai, add subscribe CTAs at the end of your imported posts and link from your Medium bio. Readers who find your new home can subscribe and become a list you actually own.
How is monetization different from Medium's Partner Program?
