AI community platform
Build a community that reads, discusses, and pays — with an AI that knows the room.
JustJot Communities live inside your publishing workflow, not beside it. Create a public, request-to-join, or private Space; give it an AI persona that shapes every digest and draft; let members discuss and discover in a ranked feed; and charge for access with paid tiers or per-post paywalls — all without exporting your audience to another platform. Free to start.
Communities built into publishing
Spaces are first-class Communities — public, request-to-join, or private — with a discussion feed, join requests, and a moderator role, all living next to the content that sparked the conversation rather than in a separate tool.
An AI that knows your community
Set a persona and focus for each Space so that every AI generation in that community — drafts, digests, research — runs with your community's tone and context baked in. The AI is consistent because you gave it the instructions.
A ranked feed that surfaces the best
New posts, quote-posts, and discussion threads surface through a For-You feed ranked by recency and engagement, so the most resonant work rises naturally rather than being buried in a chronological scroll.
Monetize your community directly
Offer paid tiers to your community members or put individual posts and chapters behind a paywall — the same Space powers your public feed, subscriber-only content, and paid access in one place.
Leaderboards to reward contributors
Top, Rising, and New leaderboards surface the best contributors in your community by topic, creating a status loop that drives quality participation without manual curation.
A weekly AI digest keeps members coming back
A Space digest — powered by the AI persona you set — summarises what's new and recommends what to read next, sent as a grounded AI summary that members can trust because it's built from your community's actual content.
Frequently asked questions
What makes this different from Discord or a Facebook Group?
Discord and Facebook Groups are discussion boards. JustJot Communities are discussion boards with a publishing layer on top — members read long-form posts, listen to AI audio overviews, run deep-research on your content, and subscribe to your paid work, all in the same Space.
Can I charge for community membership?
Yes. Paid tiers let you gate the whole community — or just specific posts and chapters — behind a subscription. Members who pay get access; free readers see only what you've left open. You own the subscriber list and can export it any time.
How does the per-Space AI persona work?
You write a brief set of instructions for each Space — the topic focus, the tone, any recurring context — and every AI generation in that Space (drafts, digests, repurpose passes) runs with those instructions in its context. Different communities can have genuinely different AI characters without any extra configuration per post.
What moderation tools are built in?
A moderator role can hide or remove posts and comments using the existing permissions layer — the same role and access system that governs publishing and paywalls, so moderation is consistent with the community's rules rather than bolted on separately.
Can members discover each other's work?
Yes. The For-You feed ranks posts by relevance and engagement, leaderboards surface the rising contributors per topic, and the who-to-follow rail connects members by shared interest — so discovery is active rather than alphabetical.
Is it free to start?
You can create a public or request-to-join Community for free. Paid tiers, per-post paywalls, and some AI features are part of the author plan — but setting up a Community, inviting members, and publishing to it is free from day one.
